Radiothon 2009 is all over and we want to send a big shout out of thanks to our sponsors and all those who subscribed, came to one of our fun events or volunteered their time during the festival. THANK YOU! Here’s a cute pic of a kitten for you to enjoy. We haven’t had a chance to tally all the pledges yet so can’t give an exact update but we reckon we came pretty close to our target! Zedletter will hopefully have more of an update for you next week, till then check out some fun events and interesting tid bits below.

Holidays On Ice

Melbourne’s The Sunday Reeds play Ric’s on Friday August 28 with Do The Robot and also at the Hangar on Saturday August 29 with Kitchen’s Floor Speaking of Kitchen’s Floor, the local act is playing August 28 at The Step Inn with Alps of NSW, The Deadnotes & Whyte Lightning, from 9pm $8.The Residents and Mexico City play the Turbine Platform at the Brisbane Powerhouse for free and all ages this Friday, August 28 from 5pm.Dappled Cities, Philadelphia Grand Jury and Yacht Club DJs play The Zoo for Dappled Cities latest release ‘Zounds’ this Saturday, August 29 from 8pm. Tickets are $18 pre sale or $22 on the door.Dallas Frasca will be performing live on Saturday August 29 at The Globe with Kim Churchill.
