So we’re getting to the pointy end of 2009 and while the shops begin to play those oh-so-annoying Christmas carols over and over and over again, we at 4ZzZ want to give your ears a break and let you choose the music you want to hear.

We want you to sort through every song you heard played on 4ZzZ in the past year and pick your favourite. Done that? It’s no easy feat! But when you’re happy with your selection, it’s time for you to cast your vote for your favourite song of 2009 in the 4ZzZ Hot 100!

CD Rediscovery: Pre-Shrunk

Sudden Blinding Certainty

ep1preshrunkI was trawling through my CD collection and pulled out Sudden Blinding Certainty by Pre-Shrunk and got funked up all over again.

For those new to Pre-Shrunk the band consisted of two bass players and a drummer. Davage and Dave Morris on bass and Justin Dwyer on drums. (or Thwack as the album puts it) The sound they created was unique. (more…)
